Lock

Our door is unlocked…  We are open…  Welcome to our restaurant…

This little boy in Nepal welcomes his guest in the morning!

Llama

Camel or horse?  They are both…  And they are really tough!

I met them in Peru while crossing the mountains from west to the coast last year…

Lizard

We can find lizards anywhere in the world…  However, I think the best place to find lizards is in Galapagos.  They are all over the islands, not just numbers, but varieties!

Light…

This photo was taken on July 19 earlier this year, the seventh day after the death of Mr. Liu Xiaobo, the 2010 Nobel Peace Prize winner.   He won the Nobel Peace Prize for his long and non-violent struggle for fundamental human rights in China.  He was the first Chinese citizen to be awarded a Nobel Prize of any kind while residing in China.

This candle light symbolized Mr. Liu’s continuous struggle in human rights and it will never dim even he left us…  People will continue to fight for freedom and hope for the better future…

Lens

I like this crystal ball…  It can make the world upside down!

Our world is getting upside down with all these political changes these days…  I do hope that we can have our own crystal ball.  Don’t you agree with me?

Landscape

Kazakhstan, I’ve never been there…  However, I visited Baihaba Village few weeks ago.  This village is right on the border between China and Kazakhstan.  And we can see the Kazakhstan side from the mountain!

Lake

I visited Xinjiang last two weeks and passed by many beautiful lakes and met wonderful people there…

Aren’t they pretty?

Journey

I was in Taiwan two weeks ago…  We went up to Alishan trying to take some photos of the clouds.  Unfortunately, the weather was not too good.  We then went shopping near one of the old railway stations.

I went into the museum next to the old rail and I found the train that used to run on this route.

This looked familiar and I remember I took a picture with this type of train last time when I visited Alishan in 1971.

Time flies…  What a memory!  I’m older and hopefully wiser.  But this type of train is now displaying in the museum.  It no longer brings people from one place to other. But it brings us history and a lot of memory…

Well, to me, life is just a journey that everyone of us goes thru! Isn’t it?
