Journey

I was in Taiwan two weeks ago…  We went up to Alishan trying to take some photos of the clouds.  Unfortunately, the weather was not too good.  We then went shopping near one of the old railway stations.

I went into the museum next to the old rail and I found the train that used to run on this route.

This looked familiar and I remember I took a picture with this type of train last time when I visited Alishan in 1971.

Time flies…  What a memory!  I’m older and hopefully wiser.  But this type of train is now displaying in the museum.  It no longer brings people from one place to other. But it brings us history and a lot of memory…

Well, to me, life is just a journey that everyone of us goes thru! Isn’t it?

Island

Hong Kong Island, I think, is one of the busiest islands in the world…  It’s a financial centre. It’s crowded.  It has a lot of energy both days and nights…

Hong Kong

Hong Kong is my home…  I was born and raised up here.

I love Hong Kong!  Come and visit us!

Insect

I started to appreciate more on God’s creation since I learned photo-shooting butterflies…

The Yellow Costers (Acraea issoria) have whole lifespan only by days from eggs to caterpillars to cocoons to butterflies.  However, they are beautiful…

We don’t have to live long…  We need to enjoy our lives God planned for us!  Shouldn’t we?

Home Sweet Home

I was about to leave the hotel last Friday, I discovered this beautiful moment…

The bird mother was feeding her babies in their nest.  Isn’t it sweet?

Hideout…

We have terrible weather in Hong Kong, heavy rain and thunderstorm all day long…

Poor Milky has to hideout under the curtain!

Heron

I met different types of herons in Galapagos last May…  They are so different!

Gorilla

It has been raining for days in Hong Kong and finally the sun came out yesterday…

My gorilla was excited and he enjoyed the bright sun in our backyard!

Giraffe

The first typhoon this year hit Hong Kong yesterday…  It now moves north but we have heavy rain for the rest of the week!

The only way to catch a giraffe is this little one at home.  Hope you like it… 🙂Giraffe

Friend

What is a friend?  We might have hundreds friends in our Facebook connection or other social networking media.  However, I think a real friend is somebody who really understands you, cares about you and will be by you side when you need support.

I’ve seen Lynn Chadwick’s sculpture “Sitting Couple” in Hong Kong few days ago.  I was impressed by the way Lynn put the man and woman sitting together, though physically separated, yet the body language demonstrated the intimate relationship between the two.

They are friends…

Frame

I was in Taichung last week…  We passed by a very famous shop.  It’s used to be the Taichung Health Centre in the past.  But now it’s re-designed into a shopping centre and restaurant.  However, it kept the original frame outside to let people remember it’s past and it’s original design.
